Architect Marketplace Terms and Conditions
These terms govern architect applications, plan submissions, public previews, private blueprint and CAD delivery, 3D source-file conditions, marketplace sales, ratings, and payout handling on Akashi Designs.
1. Marketplace role
Akashi Designs operates a curated marketplace for architectural plan listings. Akashi reviews, displays, markets, sells, and digitally delivers approved plan packages. Akashi is not the original author of external architect submissions unless expressly stated.
2. Architect eligibility
Applicants must provide accurate identity, phone, education, professional background, payout, and contact information. Akashi may approve, reject, suspend, or remove an architect account at its discretion.
3. Copyright ownership declaration
By applying and submitting plans, the architect confirms that they are the lawful owner or authorized rights holder of every design, image, drawing, PDF, CAD file, 3D model, render, text description, and related material submitted to Akashi. Copied, stolen, unauthorized, or disputed designs are not allowed.
4. Public preview materials
Each submission must include exterior images, interior images where available, a floor plan preview without dimensions, a short description, a long description, a marketing headline, key highlights, and accurate plan specifications. Public floor plan previews must not reveal paid construction dimensions.
5. Paid blueprint and CAD package
Each paid plan package must include floor plans with detailed dimensions, elevations, roof plan, sections, doors and windows schedule, and other important construction details required for a serious architectural package. The architect must provide blueprint PDFs in millimetres and feet, plus a CAD file in DWG format.
6. 3D source-file condition
Akashi does not require architects to upload large SketchUp or ArchiCAD source files during marketplace submission because those files can be very large and expensive to store. However, the architect must confirm that if a client requests customization, a SketchUp or ArchiCAD source file can be provided to the client for customization purposes at no extra cost.
7. Pricing standard
Plan pricing must be reasonable, competitive, and aligned with the quality, completeness, originality, and market value of the submitted architectural package. Akashi may request a pricing adjustment before publication.
8. Review and approval
No external architect listing goes live automatically. Akashi admin must review and approve the architect and the submitted plan. Akashi may request changes, reject a listing, unpublish a listing, or archive a listing at any time.
9. License granted to Akashi
The architect grants Akashi a non-exclusive right to review, store, reproduce, crop, resize, display, market, promote, sell, and digitally deliver approved marketplace plans and related preview materials through Akashi-owned channels.
10. Payout schedule
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the architect share is 70% of eligible net marketplace revenue and Akashi retains 30% as platform commission. Architect payouts are reviewed and paid on the 10th of the subsequent month, subject to refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fraud checks, banking delays, and payment processor delays.
11. Refunds, disputes, fraud, and withholding
Akashi may withhold or reverse payout amounts connected to refunds, chargebacks, fraud, buyer complaints, copyright disputes, duplicate submissions, technical delivery failures, malware concerns, or suspicious activity.
12. Security and upload safety
Architects must not upload malware, executable files, hidden scripts, infected archives, or files unrelated to the listed architectural plan. Akashi may reject files, scan files, delete suspicious files, suspend accounts, and withhold payouts where security concerns arise.
13. Ratings and reviews
Buyers may rate both the plan and the architect. Akashi may moderate reviews for abuse, spam, fraud, offensive content, or irrelevant material. Akashi does not guarantee only positive reviews.
14. Takedowns and copyright complaints
If Akashi receives a credible copyright complaint or ownership dispute, Akashi may immediately hide the listing, suspend sales, request evidence of ownership, and withhold related payouts while the matter is reviewed.
15. No guaranteed sales
Akashi may market approved plans, but does not guarantee traffic, sales, ranking position, ratings, revenue, or payout volume.
Important note
These marketplace terms are a strong operational foundation for the platform. Before opening the marketplace widely to external architects, Akashi should have the final version reviewed for the correct business entity, tax treatment, jurisdiction, and local legal compliance.
