Akashi DesignsTurning Dreams Into Reality

Akashi Designs Legal

Copyright & Licensing

This policy explains how Akashi Designs digital house plans, images, renders, drawings, downloads, website content, and brand materials may be used after purchase or while browsing the website.

One project license

A standard plan purchase is licensed for one residential project or one build only.

No resale or scraping

Plans, images, renders, drawings, files, and website content may not be resold, scraped, redistributed, or republished.

Written permission

Multiple builds, commercial reuse, AI use, brand use, or special licensing require written approval from Akashi Designs.

1. Ownership of Akashi Designs Content

All architectural designs, house plans, drawings, plan packages, renders, images, floor plans, elevations, videos, product descriptions, captions, website text, graphics, logos, icons, page layouts, branding, downloads, and related materials supplied by Akashi Designs remain the intellectual property of Akashi Designs or the applicable rights holder.

Purchasing a house plan does not transfer copyright ownership to the buyer. The buyer receives a limited license to use the purchased plan according to the terms stated in this Copyright & Licensing Policy.

All rights not expressly granted to the buyer are reserved by Akashi Designs.

2. Standard Plan License

A standard plan purchase grants the buyer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased plan for one residential project or one build only, unless Akashi Designs agrees otherwise in writing.

The buyer may use the plan for personal project review, contractor pricing, local approval, engineering review, adaptation, and construction of the licensed project.

The license is issued to the buyer and may not be assigned, sold, transferred, sublicensed, shared publicly, or used by another person or business without written approval from Akashi Designs.

3. One Build Only

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, one plan purchase permits one build only.

A buyer who wants to build the same plan more than once must request an additional license or written permission from Akashi Designs before the additional build begins.

Developers, contractors, estate builders, investors, and commercial buyers should contact Akashi Designs before purchase if they intend to use a plan for multiple homes, a development, repeated construction, resale housing, rental communities, or commercial housing projects.

4. Permitted Sharing

The buyer may share purchased files with their builder, contractor, engineer, local architect, quantity surveyor, approval consultant, planning authority, or relevant professional for the purpose of reviewing, adapting, approving, pricing, or constructing the buyer’s licensed project.

Anyone receiving the files from the buyer may use them only for the buyer’s licensed project and may not reuse, resell, redistribute, publish, upload, copy, or use the files for another project.

The buyer remains responsible for ensuring that any professional, consultant, contractor, or third party receiving the files respects Akashi Designs’ copyright and licensing rights.

5. Prohibited Use

Akashi Designs plans may not be resold, uploaded to other websites, shared publicly, redistributed through file-sharing platforms, included in another plan catalogue, used as free downloads, used as lead magnets, sold through marketplaces, or offered as part of another design service without written permission.

The buyer may not copy, redraw, trace, modify, convert, reproduce, repackage, or create derivative versions of Akashi Designs plans for resale, publication, redistribution, commercial exploitation, or creation of competing products.

The buyer may not claim Akashi Designs plans, images, renders, product descriptions, or drawings as their own original work.

6. No Removal of Notices

Buyers and users may not remove, obscure, alter, crop out, hide, edit, or delete copyright notices, watermarks, attribution, ownership marks, file labels, license notes, plan identifiers, disclaimers, or proprietary notices from Akashi Designs files, drawings, images, previews, renders, downloads, or documents.

Any authorized copy, print, adaptation, or professional working file should preserve Akashi Designs ownership and licensing information where reasonably possible.

7. Images, Renders, Videos, and Marketing Material

Akashi Designs images, 3D renders, floor plan previews, videos, captions, product descriptions, website graphics, and social media visuals are protected content.

They may not be copied, reposted, reused, edited, advertised, published, or used by another person or business without written permission from Akashi Designs.

Buyers may share official Akashi Designs product links for personal reference or discussion, but may not use Akashi Designs media to advertise competing services, create cloned listings, suggest affiliation, or misrepresent ownership of the designs.

8. No AI Training, Dataset Use, or Automated Replication

Akashi Designs plans, images, renders, drawings, descriptions, files, layouts, and website content may not be used to train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, populate, or improve artificial intelligence systems, design generators, computer vision systems, data extraction systems, or competing design tools without written permission.

Users may not scrape, bulk download, extract, index, copy, or compile Akashi Designs content into databases, datasets, plan libraries, image libraries, AI prompts, automated design tools, or marketplace listings.

Automated collection of Akashi Designs content is prohibited unless Akashi Designs has granted express written consent.

9. No Bots, Scraping, or Automated Copying

Users may not use robots, spiders, crawlers, scrapers, browser automation, scripts, bulk download tools, screen capture systems, manual copying systems, or similar methods to access, monitor, copy, reproduce, extract, download, or index Akashi Designs content without written permission.

Users may not interfere with the proper functioning, speed, reliability, security, checkout flow, download flow, or availability of the Akashi Designs website.

Akashi Designs may block, restrict, suspend, or take action against traffic, accounts, IP addresses, users, or systems that appear to be scraping, copying, attacking, overloading, or misusing the website.

10. Customization and Derivative Work

Modifying or customizing a purchased plan does not remove Akashi Designs’ copyright in the original design.

Custom drawings, adaptations, redrawn files, metric conversions, revised layouts, exterior revisions, and design modifications prepared by Akashi Designs remain subject to Akashi Designs licensing terms unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

A local professional may adapt the purchased plan for local approval or construction purposes, but only for the buyer’s licensed project.

The buyer may not use modified versions of Akashi Designs plans to create resale products, competing designs, plan catalogues, marketplace listings, or additional builds without written permission.

11. Trademarks and Brand Assets

The Akashi Designs name, logo, motto, brand identity, plan names, product labels, website design elements, visual style, and related marks may not be used, copied, displayed, modified, or presented in a way that suggests ownership, endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation without written permission.

Third-party names, marks, platforms, or services mentioned on the website remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification or service purposes where applicable.

12. Website Content and Personal Reference Use

Visitors may view Akashi Designs website content for personal, non-commercial browsing, project consideration, and legitimate customer evaluation.

Printing or saving a reasonable number of website pages for personal reference does not grant ownership, resale rights, redistribution rights, republication rights, or rights to reuse Akashi Designs content commercially.

No title, copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right is transferred to any visitor, buyer, contractor, consultant, or third party except the limited license expressly granted after purchase.

13. Local Approval and Professional Responsibility

Purchased plans may require local architectural review, engineering review, structural calculations, authority approval, site planning, energy calculations, climate adaptation, or professional stamping before construction.

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the licensed plan is suitable for their land, climate, local authority, building code, construction method, intended use, and approval process.

Copyright ownership and licensing rights remain separate from local professional adaptation or authority approval requirements.

14. Unauthorized Use and Enforcement

Unauthorized copying, resale, redistribution, publication, commercial reuse, multiple-build use, scraping, AI training, marketplace uploading, or public sharing of Akashi Designs content may result in termination of access, cancellation of license rights, takedown requests, account suspension, refusal of service, legal action, and claims for damages.

Akashi Designs reserves the right to protect its intellectual property through technical, marketplace, platform, payment, legal, and enforcement measures.

Where unauthorized use is discovered, Akashi Designs may contact hosting providers, marketplaces, search engines, payment processors, social media platforms, contractors, developers, or relevant authorities to protect its rights.

15. Copyright Complaints and Takedown Requests

Akashi Designs respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users, customers, contractors, and third parties to do the same.

If you believe that material on the Akashi Designs website infringes your copyright, you may contact us with enough information for us to review the claim.

A copyright complaint should include your name, contact details, a description of the copyrighted work, the specific URL or location of the material you believe is infringing, a statement explaining your good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized, and confirmation that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Copyright complaints may be sent to info@akashidesigns.com.

Akashi Designs may remove, disable access to, review, or request further information about disputed material where appropriate.

16. Permission Requests

To request permission for multiple builds, commercial use, republication, developer use, media use, marketplace use, AI or dataset use, plan adaptation, brand use, or special licensing, contact Akashi Designs before using the content outside the standard license.

Written permission must come from Akashi Designs through an official communication channel. Verbal assumptions, third-party statements, informal discussions, or silence from Akashi Designs do not create licensing rights.

Akashi Designs may approve, refuse, price, condition, or limit special licensing requests at its discretion.

17. Survival of Copyright Rights

Akashi Designs copyright, ownership, enforcement, restriction, and licensing rights continue even after download access expires, an account is closed, a refund is issued, a project is completed, or the buyer stops using the website.

Any refund, cancellation, access suspension, or license termination may end the buyer’s right to use the relevant files, but it does not end Akashi Designs’ ownership or enforcement rights.
